Here are some answers to our most common questions from followers:
1. Is this an official Nickelodeon Spongebob tumblr?
NO. This is a fan-operated site. No copyright infringement is intended and all images, quotes, and audio are the property of Nickelodeon and Viacom unless stated otherwise.

3. Can you follow me back/recommend me/give me a shout out on your blog?
Unfortunately, no. We just have too many followers to give you all equal attention, and our primary purpose is to bring Spongebob moments to you. We can’t be scrolling through thousands of posts on the dashboard everyday.
4. How do you make your images?
We own digital copies of the first four seasons of Spongebob as well as the movie. We take screenshots from these and make our posts in Photoshop. GIFs are made pretty much the same way. If you’re interested in making animated gifs, check out tutorials for Photoshop, Gimp, etc.
5. Where can I get a Striped Sweater t-shirt or button?
These products were limited edition runs. We might have another new limited edition product within the next couple months. The short-sleeve Striped Sweater t-shirts were a promotion for our one-year anniversary, while the buttons were made for Christmas. Everyone who bought a shirt received a note from us and a few little Spongebob-related goodies with their order. We are hoping to put some more of these promotions out soon, but obviously this is time consuming and actually costs us a lot of money so please be patient with us!
6. Do you take requests?
Sort of. We have a daily schedule usually but if someone suggests something funny that we haven’t posted before, we’ll go and make it. Please use our Tags page to check if the moment you’re looking for has already been done.
7. Can I get your theme?
If you can do coding feel free to take our theme, otherwise our theme was our own modification of a basic theme. It’s all in the html.
8. What are your days of the week?
Monday nights we have Message Monday where we answer one question from our ask box. For the most part we communicate ask to ask but there are some questions that just beg to be answered publicly. (You don’t have to wait until Monday to ask questions).
Tuesdays consist of GiffyTues and that’s dedicated to bringing you at least two Spongebob .gifs. They are more time consuming than regular posts so they get their own days.
On Fridays for as long as we can we’ve been posting one Fridaudio which is obviously a sound clip. They are normally songs from Spongebob, but not always.
Sundays we have one extra post, and that’s the Sunday Extra. This is so we can update posts from back when we first started when our quality wasn’t as good.
Every other day we just post the normal screencaps sometimes with One-Panels thrown in. One-Panels are when we have one of the panels in the strip animated, sometimes we animate more, though.
10. Why don’t you put the captions inside the image?
There are a couple of reasons. First of all, there are some posts that have a lot of dialogue, and if we put it on the picture you wouldn’t be able to see the picture or read the text, so what’s the point?
Second, having the text on the images makes them easier for people to STEAL. We love when people like and reblog our stuff - it’s the only way we know what episodes and moments you guys like best! If the text is already on the image, people can just save the image and post it as their own. Because we have a unique framing and the text below, we can tell when people have stolen our images without us having to use watermarks.
